Raising Money
Raising money for local charities is the principle aim of the Rothwell Lions. This years chosen charities are the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease appeal and the Rothwell and District Gateway Club - both charities, we feel, make a real difference to lives and the people living in our community. We hope you can help us to raise as much money as possible for these two very worthwhile charities. As well as taking part in the Wild Boar Challenge you may like to host other events to boost your sponsorship - such as a coffee morning. Remember every penny really does count!
More money is received by the charities if donations are made by post or by BACS, due to the charges of our online payment processor.
Make a donation
If you are unable to compete in the cycle challenge but would like to make a donation to the fundraising total, the proceeds of which will be shared between our chosen charities, you can do so through PayPal by following the link below. Your donation will be greatfully received and much appreciated by us and our chosen charities.
How to pay your sponsor money
There are two ways in which you can submit your sponsorship money. Either send a cheque, made payable to Rothwell Lions - Wild Boar Challenge, to us at: Rothwell Lions c/o Wild Boar Challenge, 14 Castle Lodge Way, Rothwell, Leeds, LS26 LS26 0ZH. Alternatively you can e mail treasurer@rothwell-lions.co.uk to get our bank details to make a BACS payment
